Social & Emotional (SET) Therapist
-Experience or training in Child Centered, Non-Directive Play therapy
-Knowledge of early childhood development, attachment disorders, trauma, grief, crisis intervention, developmental disorders, poverty and demographic populations represented within Small Steps Nurturing Center
-Master’s Degree: Required; Field of Study: social work, counseling, or related field
-Position Summary: Execute comprehensive social and emotional program, including therapeutic services, in order to effect positive student development in a manner that is consistent with the mission and goals of Small Steps Nurturing Center.
Social & Emotional (SET) Interventionist
-Experience or training in social & emotional program
-Experience in Applied Behavioral Analysis or other behavioral interventions
-3 – 5 years of experience in an early childhood educational setting
-Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
-High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
-Position Summary: Execute comprehensive social and emotional support program in the classrooms to support student and staff development in a manner that is consistent with the mission and goals of Small Steps Nurturing Center.
-2 – 5 years of experience in an educational setting or practicing as an independent, licensed clinician
-Experience in working with children identified as having or suspected of having speech and language deficits, apraxia, articulation, and pragmatic language issues
-Master’s Degree: Required; Field of Study: Speech Pathology
-Position Summary: Develops, manages, and implements a speech therapy program to facilitate the speech therapy needs as identified at the Jensen and DePelchin campuses of Small Steps Nurturing Center.

Assistant Program Director
-3 plus years of administrative experience (in education setting preferred)
-Experience in direct supervision and working with low-income or Title 1 schools preferred
-Bachelor’s Degree: Required; Field of Study: Child Development, Early Childhood, or Education EC-12 Preferred
-Position Summary: Perform administrative duties under the general supervision of the Program Director and manage daily school operations and policies. Ensure that all licensing and accreditation standards are being met at both schools.
